On October 23, 2015 the Toronto Independent Music Awards will be announced in a grand Award Gala celebrating 11 years of supporting Canadian independent music with nominees and winners in 17 categories at Revival in Toronto, Ontario.
The Toronto Independent Music Awards were founded in 2004 by Dani Oliva. The concept evolved out of a desire to truly support independent musicians and to provide songwriting and music exposure to individuals in the community. The TIMAs serve as a platform to award up-and-coming independent artists from the province of Ontario and to expose them to international opportunities.
