Sima
I've
always been very lazy about my appearance, I've
never taken the time to put together decent outfits,
learn to put on makeup or do my hair. My friends,
as
well as my family, who is desperate to marry me off,
decided it was about time that i did something about
my sad state of affairs.
Cut
and Style
We thinned out Sima's hair dramatically and we shortened
her length to show off her great jaw structure. We
also noticed that Sima has a small chin and by lifting
her hair up to jaw level, it made her chin look more
proportionate to the rest of her features.
Coloure-Up
Sima was a little nervous about this step as she had
never coloured her hair - so we decided to give her
something subtle that would require little maintenance.
We added 2 different colour highlights (caramel toffee
and golden auburn) that would compliment her cut and
enhance her features. She was thrilled with the results!

Sima
on her new look:
I 'm amazed at how people have reacted to my new look.
When I went to work, everyone commented on how great
I looked, it was weird because I am so used to being
a wallflower, blending into the background, and not
having many people pay attention to me. It was kinda
fun to be in the spotlight!
I
love my new hairstyle, I was a bit hesitant because
I'd never coloured my hair before, but I think the
colour really brightens up my face, and the length
is
great because it's easier to manage and I have a small
face so my features are highlighted. When I was doing
my makeup, I told her that I don't usually wear makeup,
so she showed me a few easy things I could do that
wouldn't take a lot of time, but would make a big
difference in how I looked.
I
thought I was just going to get some makeup on my
face and that would be that, but I've realized that
when I look good, I feel more confident and it makes
a difference in how I relate to people and how they
relate to me, so this makeover changed me in more
ways than my hair and my face.
