need some time for myself"? Well, there is no
better time than the present! Whether you are tired from
work, stressed from school, exhausted from parenthood, or
simply want to wind down - you are definitely due for some

the skin. Indulge yourself in a penetrating massage that
goes deep into your muscles to relieve stress and tension.
SHIATSU MASSAGE
Shiatsu is a Japanese pressure point treatment that relieves
stress, reduces pain and soothes the entire body. Shiatsu,
which means 'finger pressure', differs from Swedish Massage
in that it is performed through clothing without oil. The
Shiatsu Therapist leverages their body weight through their
fingers, thumbs and elbows in a rhythmic "hold and
release" technique to encourage the muscles of the
body to stretch and release tension. The amount of pressure
used in the treatment is adjusted to each recipient's preference
and the needs of each muscle group being worked on.
Duration:1 hr Cost: $90treatments
AROMA STONE MASSAGE

your muscles, gently massaging away tension and stress.

SWEDISH MASSAGE

THAI MASSAGE
Thai massage incorporates the elements of reflexology, acupressure,
shiatsu and yoga to stimulate energy lines, facilitating
a flow of energy throughout the body. Loose, comfortable
clothing is worn during this massage.

FLOWER ESSENCE SCALP

balance and beauty while relieving the body and mind of
stress through the benefits of flower and plant essences.

The following treatments use high temperatures or water
pressure to induce relaxation and are not recommended if
you are pregnant or suffer from high blood pressure or heart
disease.
MILK AND SESAME STONE
WRAP
The ultimate in ancient moisturizing rituals. Hot basalt
stones are used to massage a signature blend of buttermilk
and sesame seeds onto your skin, your body is then wrapped

MOOR WRAP HYDRO MASSAGE
After a body masque of Golden Moor Mud and an exfoliation,
you are submersed in the hydrotherapy tub filled with moor
mud with pine oil, while a hydro-massage is directed on
the body. Finish your treatment with a warm Vichy shower

SPA ETIQUETTE
Like dining at a fancy restaurant, there are certain precautions
one must take when indulging in luxury. It is important
to feel comfortable and prepared at a spa, especially when
it comes to the 'personal touch'.
What should I bring with me?
Most spas provide you with a robe, towels, and a personal
locker. Be sure to bring a swimsuit for your hydrotherapy
treatment and pools. It is a good idea to bring along a
pair of comfortable slippers or sandals, hair ties, tote
bag, and some easy reading.
What should I wear?
Dress for casual comfort, in clothes that allow you to move
freely. Although, most people remain in their robes for
the duration of their pampering, including during meals.
However, it depends entirely on your comfort; you may wish
to change into casual wear for dinner or socializing.
What am I supposed to wear under my
robe?
What you wear beneath you robe depends on personal preference.
Some people choose to wear their swimsuit or shorts, while
others wear their undergarments. Some wear nothing at all.
Do I have to take off all of my clothes?
No, your body is extremely personal. To ensure your privacy
at all times, many spa technicians and therapist use professional
draping techniques, only exposing the are to be treated.
If the treatment involves water, a bathing suit is optional.
This discretion is maintained through every step: The therapist
will explain the treatment
procedure prior to the commencement of the service, how
to position yourself, how to use the linens to cover yourself,
etc. The therapist is required to leave the room while you
disrobe and position yourself for their therapy.
Can I request a male or female therapist?
Although the gender of your therapist may not be guaranteed,
almost all spas employ both male and female professionals.
What is included in my spa treatments?
In most all-inclusive spas, meals, accommodations and use
of recreational facilities are included in your stay. Usually,
each spa package is composed of an allowance. This allowance
is applied against the spa service you purchase.
What if I am pregnant?
Pregnancy provides ample opportunity to relax! In fact,
majority of therapists are trained specifically in pre-natal
therapies. However, it is important to be cautious of treatments
involving heat. Other than that, enjoy your massage, facial,
reflexology, and aesthetic services with ease and comfort!
Are there any medical conditions that
would prevent me from a
spa treatment?
Yes. Conditions such as active cancer, high blood pressure,
hear disease and pregnancy may contradict certain treatments.
It is important to speak with your spa specialist if you
have a condition of which you are concerned. A spa treatment
is of no way a compromise of your health!
Is there a specific order of treatments
I should adhere to?
To maximize the benefits of your treatments, it is recommended
that you begin with a personal training session, then move
to heat and hydrotherapy, followed by body work and finishing
with esthetics. With this sequence, you will allow yourself
to realize the full healing potential of your spa get-away.
What about gratuities?
It is common to 'tip' your therapist or spa technician,
depending on their ability to meet or exceed your expectations.
Either you can offer the gratuity to them personally, or
guest services can extent it on your behalf.
