Nestled in a strip plaza on Scott Road, Mr. Tandoor is one of Surrey's best restaurants for mouth-watering Indian cuisine. Newly opened in November 2007, the word is spreading quickly about the trendy lounge-style restaurant complete with bright walls and tasteful décor.
This venue is ideal for a cozy dinner for two, family get-together or can easily be rented out for a small corporate affair.
Mr. Tandoor is a joint venture amongst 3 business-savvy owners. The passion to run a successful restaurant business and an ultra-talented chef named "Happy", are without a doubt, a winning combination.

Large Flat Screen TV showing all the Bollywood Classics just above the bar provides the restaurant with an upbeat energy.
Service
Friendly and prompt service with a smile. The server comes around regularly to make sure customers are well taken care of. Bonus: the server also makes great suggestions for those who are not familiar with the menu items.
Main Menu
There are a lot of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items to choose from! Appetizers such as tandoori chicken and veggie pakoras are typical classics served at most Indian restaurants yet have a nice "bite" at Mr. Tandoor's. One of the house specialties is the tantalizing chili chicken. It has just the right amount of spices and is cooked to perfection. Another classic dish, is the channa masala which tastes great alongside garlic naan & raita.
Sweet Tooth
If you're counting calories, you'll regrettably miss the amazing kulfi ice-cream, a house specialty only available on special request. For any rasmalai connoisseurs, Mr. Tandoor offers one of the best ever tasted with a creamy milk base, and not overly sweet. Another tasty treat is the gulab jaman. Served nice and warm (just the way it should be), this dessert is definitely a "must-try".
Prices are reasonable for the great quality of food and service.
