hair Christine Blunden Ali of Fiorio Hair Salon described Ramandeep’s hair as very heavy with very uneven layers. Christine cut Ramandeep’s hair using the Fiorio texturizing technique, which essentially “lightened up” Ramandeep’s hair cut making it less heavy and easier to manage. To correct the uneven layers, Christine blended the layers around Ramandeep’s face bringing out her eyes and cheekbones. In terms of colour, Christine pointed out the natural lustre of Ramandeep’s virgin hair. “Colouring Ramandeep’s hair will only take away from the beautiful natural colour she has, and will eventually dull it out and damage it. She doesn’t need colour”. Instead, Christine gave Ramandeep’s hair a gloss treatment to give a boost in the shine of her hair. In terms of styling, Christine decided to straighten Ramandeep’s naturally curly hair using a ceramic straightening iron and Revlon Professional Straight Hair Days product line (available at Fiorio Salons).

makeup Karen Cimsit, make up artist at Willowstream Spa, kept Ramandeep’s new look natural in the eyes and more dramatic in the lips. Karen applied a caramel pressed base to even out Ramandeep’s skin tone, followed by cocoa blush used to highlight Ramandeep’s cheekbones. She used topaz eyeshadow as a base on the lids and filled in the corners and crease of Ramandeep’s eyes with triple cognac, finishing off with champaigne as a highlighter and black mascara. Karen lined Ramandeep’s lips with Sienna and filled in with Carmen. All makeup used is by Jane Iredale, available at Willowstream Spa.

hairPunam came in with very thick hair, which needed to be softened out and recoloured, along with different tones of red from previous hair colours. Dale, hair stylist at Fiorio Salon, decided to bring Punam’s hair colour back to a medium brown, and used caramel and toffee hilites. Next, Dale cut two inches off the bottom, layered the hair through the midsection and texturized Punam’s hair using the Fiorio texturizing technique. “Punam’s cut offers her more versatility and style-ability”.

makeup Haley Holzer, makeup artist at Willowstream Spa, gave Punam a great spring look. Haley first applied Circle Delete to conceal the dark circles around Punam’s eyes. Next, she used Cloud Nine‘s eyeshadow combination to give Punam a dramatic spring look and finished off with black mascara. To bring out Punam’s beautiful smile, Haley used a fan brush and cool cranberry blush to highlight Punam’s cheekbones. Finally, Punams lips were lined with Plum and filled in with Bonnie lip colour. To set Punam’s look, Haley spritzed the makeup with D20. All makeup used is by Jane Iredale available at Willowstream Spa.
