This unique gala event will take place November 8, 2001 at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto.Toronto has yet to see an award show of this kind! The aim of the MyBindi Awards Show is to recognize the talents and contributions of South Asians in Canada. On-line voting takes place between September 10th and October 21st at www.mybindi.com/awards. All are encouraged to vote!

The Awards Show is receiving a tremendous response from the community. Categories include Favourite Media Personality, Best DJ, Most Committed Community Organization, Most Talented Musician and Special Achievement recognition.

Expect a jam-packed night including a VIP reception, performances, award presentations, and celebrity appearances, followed by an after-party with award-winning DJ Mastermind. Celebrity guests include RnB Artist Carlos Morgon, Nadine Ramkisson of Electric Circus, Gemini Nominee Comedian Russel Peters, Juno-nominated Toronto Tabla Ensemble, Miss Canada Universe Neelam Verma, Global TV's Neha Bhupal and many more.
