Get Ready, MyBindi Thursdays are Here!

TORONTO, October 3, 2000 - Toronto's on-line guide to South Asian lifestyle, arts and entertainment invites the community to celebrate the launch of MyBindi Thursdays on October 19, 2000.

This event will kick-start MyBindi Thursdays, a monthly fete to take place at Cafe Havana. "We have thousands of people participating in our virtual community. This is our way of thanking them and offering an equally fun place to meet offline", says Sandeep, co-founder of MyBindi.com. Is it just another party? Definitely not. "The purpose of MyBindi Thursdays is to recognize the contributions of the South Asian community in arts and technology," points out Manisha, also a founder of MyBindi.com. Through each monthly gathering, revelers will be exposed to a variety of South Asian artists and technology companies. This is part of MyBindi.com's mandate to raise awareness and provide a platform for the community to showcase its talents.
