TALENT, SPRINT AND STYLE ABOUND AT THE MYBINDI AWARDS SHOW

Toronto, Canada - MyBindi.com, Canada's leading on-line South Asian destination for arts and entertainment, celebrated Talent, Spirit and Style in the South Asian community this past Thursday, November 8th at the Phoenix Concert Theatre. Close to 1000 people turned up to enjoy the VIP Reception with a celebrity guest list including Minister Allan Rock, RnB Artist Carlos Morgon, Nadine of Electric Circus, TV Personality Karen Johnson. Miss Canada Universe Neelam Verma, CFMT producer Indira Naidoo Harris and the staff at CFMT and Athlete Pardeep Nagra. The event included a VIP Reception, Awards Presentation, Performances and an After-Party.

This year's winners included Global TV's Neha Bhupal for Favourite Female Media Personality, the Toronto Tabla Ensemble for favourite Band and Jiten for Best DJ. Activist and DJ Zahra Danani was given Special Achievement Recognition. Also taking awards were Ellora Patnaik for Most Talented Classical Dancer, Addictive Sounds for Favourite Promoter, and Mo-D of CFMT for Favourite Male Media Personality. The aim of the MyBindi Awards Show is to recognize the talents and contributions of South Asians in Canada. Over 3000 people voted on-line to select this year's winners.
