If you are a new immigrant in Canada and are looking for a fun and unique volunteer experience then please join NEAT (Newcomers Explore and Appreciate Toronto) for an orientation session.

By joining NEAT event planning and marketing team, you can:

  • Help organize guided neighbourhood walks for the general public
  • Be mentored by experienced Canadian volunteers
  • Enhance your knowledge about Toronto's vicinities and historical landmarks
  • Network and socialize
  • Enhance English speaking and project management skills
  • Learn skills required for a trip advisor/ tour guide
  • Obtain reference letter and other volunteer benefits

This program is open to landed immigrants/convention refugees (holding valid documents) who are responsible adults (19 years and older), can speak English (level 4 and up), are willing to commit to 30 volunteer hours during a 3-6 month period, and pass group interview.

Group interview/orientation taking place on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at CultureLink's office.
