Are we facing Economic Gridlock?

Western GTA Summit

How will we Move, Live and Thrive in the Western GTA?

If you are interested in answering these questions, the 2013 Western GTA Summit
is for you! It is your chance to get your voice heard, and participate in the decision making process.

Mayors Hazel McCallion (Mississauga), Susan Fennell (Brampton), Rob Burton (Oakville), and Marolyn Morrison (Caledon) have agreed to be the honorary co-chairs of this Summit.

Joining the mayors will be prominent keynote speakers, including, Bruce McQuaig (CEO, Metrolinx), Jennifer Keesmat (Chief Planner, City of Toronto), and Joe Berridge (Principal, Urban Strategies), among many others.

The 2013 Western GTA Summit will discuss the major issues facing the over 1.4 million people living in the Western Greater Toronto Area

Each of the municipalities taking part in the in the 2013 Summit has a citizenry that wants a say in the important issues facing their communities and the larger region. To satisfy this strong desire, the Western GTA Summit will convene the political, business and community leaders of these four municipalities and charge them with finding answers to the big questions facing our region.

The cost of doing nothing is too high. Make sure your voice is heard.
