Karen David, with her exotic beauty and multicultural pedigree, (Chinese, Indian and Jewish heritage), is a multi-talented actress and singer-songwriter who works in film, television, stage and music.

A talented actress and musician, Karen David carries her genuine nature off-screen, garnering praise from fans and coworkers in each space. “Karen is one of those people who, when you first meet her, you are instantly wary of, because you find it hard to believe that someone can really be so nice,” comments Dan Fogelman, Creator of ABC’s Hit TV Show, Galavant. “You spend more time with her and you realize it’s not an act – that she’s just genuine and kind in the way most of us pretend to be genuine and kind.”

British-born, New York City-based, DJ Rekha is a deejay, curator, record label owner and educator. Called the “Ambassador of Bhangra” by the New York Times and named one of the most influential South Asians by Newsweek, Rekha is among the first deejays to merge classic Bhangra and Bollywood sounds into the language of contemporary electronic dance music.

Rekha’s musical accomplishments include sound design for the Tony award-winning Broadway show, Bridge and Tunnel and the off-Broadway show, Rafta Rafta. She also served as the associate producer for the NPR Radio Documentary, A Feet in Two Worlds.

In 2010 at a White House Asian Pacific Islander reception, President Obama said, “I want to thank DJ Rekha who’s been spinning a little East Room Bhangra for everybody, mixing a hip-hop beat with the sounds of her heritage, making a uniquely American sound that may not have been heard in the White House before.”

Zameer Rizvi is a Canadian singer/songwriter, musician and composer known for referencing social and political issues in his music. Rizvi’s poignant writing style landed him in controversy with songs such as ‘Mind Over Murder’ and ‘Tatti’ which challenge socio-political norms of the Middle East and South Asia. The same writing style earned him worldwide recognition when his song about social injustice against athletes with disabilities called Win or Defeat’ was licensed as a theme song by the 2010 Paralympic Games. Rizvi went on to perform the song at the 2010 Olympic Games.

Rizvi released his debut album From Under the Bleachers in 2011. According to Rizvi, the title of the album originated from his experiences while sitting under the water tank on his roof in Pakistan. Production credits for From Under the Bleachers include five-time Grammy Award-winning producer Steve Thompson.

The album was well received, with strong digital sales, leading to Rizvi’s single ‘Glory of Love’ climbing to #73 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in Canada. The album also snagged Rizvi the title of ‘Hot Shot Debut’ and #5 on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart.
