Just refreshing! If I had to sum this album up with one word, well actually two, that would be it. From beginning to end, this Montreal-native band had me nodding my head non-stop. The voices of Rup (Rupinder) and Q (Qurram) on the 8 + 2 remixes album didn’t have me aiming for my fast-forward button once! If you’ve heard some of Josh’s previous work, you’ll notice a bit more of a bhangra mirch and masala this time around. It’s that hot! Hold your horses if you think it’s your typical bhangra album, in fact it’s far from it! The boys rocked it on “Baan Far Kay” along with superstar Sukhbir in which they’ve just recently done an entertaining music video for. I’m glad to say that these guys represent the Canadian flag as they make great ambassadors to the desi music world. Make sure you get your hands on DJ Jiten’s remix of “Josh Naal” as it guaranteed to get all everyone on the dance floor at your cousins wedding complete without a fight! Also appearing here is the original ragamuffin Don Raja, Apache Indian. “Meri Jaan” is very highly recommended!
