Hum Tum OST
Album
Rating: 6.5/10
After
watching one of my few Bollywood films this year and enjoying
it quite a lot, I picked up the soundtrack hoping that it
would be just as dynamic. The 7-track lackluster album (technically
6 as one happens to be an instrumental) was a big disappointment!
The only song worth talking about was the Rishi Rich produced
track, featuring youngsters Juggy D and Veronica on “U’n’I
(Mere Dil Vich Hum Tum)”. More than likely, the album
will succeed due to this song’s western-styled influence
that’ll make you want to hit the dance floor like
it was an mainstream R&B song. “Chak De”
might be another decent catchy song to listen too, however
my mum hums the tune all the time now and it’s not
exactly the best of songs. (At least hum a better tune mum!)
Sorry but I’ll keep the last song on repeat for a
while which deserves a 10 on its own. The rest of it, if
I had a dog, he can howl to it. Actually I’ll go get
a dog!
