9 YR OLD PUNJABI PHENOMENON

It's hard to believe that 9 year old Preet a.k.a Kaka Canadian has already accomplished so much as a singer and actor in the Entertainment industry at such a young age (both in India and Canada!).

He has acted in recent Bollywood movies, Jab We Met and EK - The Power of One. Also he just finished shooting an untitled Punjabi movie which will be released later on this year. He recently performed at Punjabi Showdown in January and VIBC in March. As well, he recently released his first album "Apni Mitti".

Kaka Canadian inspiration comes from Gurdas Mann and Jazzy Bains. After watching their music videos and listening to their songs day in and day out it made him realize that he wants to follow in the footsteps of these bhangra icons.

He began his professional training from Prabhjot Bali, Baldev Kakri, Virinder Bachan, and Surinder Khan. As well he started to take dance classes from Jassi Jackson and Parminder Singh. This was how he started his career for singing.

Kaka believes everything happens for a reason and most of the things have been happening accidentally for him. He ended up by pure accident in the movie industry

KC will be performing on April 19th at Vaisakhi Mela in Abbotsford as well he will be performing at Desifest on May 3 in Vancouver. Look on his website for further information about his whereabouts as his website will be updated with that information.
