Profile: Boo Boo 'D Saxena
by
Omar Azhar
BooBoo D' Saxena. Cool name, great personality. The man
is a gem, not only as a person, but as a DJ and promoter
for one Toronto's biggest promotion companies. Addictive
Sounds, Boo Boo's production company, has been around, and
if you have ever been to a club on a weekend and had to
stand in a line for like an hour or so, chances are you've
been to their parties.
Starting out in high school doing smaller parties, Booboo
'D developed a love for the industry, life style and the
music. The style of his mixes usually differs from all the
rest of the disc jockeys around Toronto because he as an
edge to his music which includes playing hard core hip hop/
r & b and the reggae mixes.
A soft spoken man, Booboo didn't really have much to say,
but what ever he did say meant, "look out Toronto, I'm here,
and I'm here to stay." Now don't take me wrong, the man's
not an amateur. He's been around for a long time now. Seven
years in fact, and now he is out there and more furiously
taking over then ever before.
Being one of the star DJ's coming out of the Wreckshop radio
party team, Booboo gained experience and fame. With the
calmest attitude he says that he doesn't really want to
achieve any major goals in his career, except to see his
company succeed and to go on to become one of the largest
promotional player's on the ground.
