Director: Sanjay Gupta

Music: Vishal-Shekhar, Shibani Kashyap & Strings

"Zinda", one good act of vengeance, deserves another. Bala (Sanjay Dutt) and his wife Nisha (Celina Jaitley) have just moved to Bangkok. Not to long after, Nisha finds out she's pregnant. As she rushes outside to tell her husband Bala, he's no-where to be found, vanished without a trace. Bala wakes up in a room similar to a prison cell and has no idea who is holding him captive. The only thing he knows is the shoe of the person delivering his meals, as this is all he sees. The only contact Bala has with the world is the television set in his room. Bala finds out from television that his wife was killed and he is the prime suspect, someone has framed him for his wife's murder. Bala is held in the cell for fourteen years until one day, he is released with just some money and a cell phone.

After having spent fourteen years in captive, Bala now wants to find out who had done this to him. Now begins the game of revenge. Bala meets Jenny (Lara Dutta), a local taxi driver who he befriends and together they try to uncover the person behind the game. Rohit (John Abraham) is a rich businessman who lost the most important person in his life. Who is this person and how does Bala come into the story? Find out when you watch "Zinda".

Sanjay Dutt and John Abraham did an amazing job with their characters. Lara and Celina don't have many scenes in the movie but do have pivotal roles. The music soundtrack was okay with the best song being "Yeh Hai Meri Kahani" sung by the band, Strings. You can catch Sanjay Dutt in his forthcoming movies "Tathastu", "Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse", "Sarhad Paar" and the most anticipated, "Munnabhai Meets Mahatma Gandhi". John Abraham will be seen soon in "Kabul Express" and you can see John in person on May 21st, 2006 at the Rogers Center where he will be performing along with Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Esha Deol in the "Rock Star" concert.
