Mere Jeevan Saathi

Cast: Akshay Kumar, Karisma Kapoor & Ameesha Patel

Director: Suneel Darshan

Music: Nadeem-Shravan

The three main characters of "Mere Jeevan Saathi" are Vicky (Akshay Kumar), Anjali (Ameesha Patel) and Natasha (Karisma Kapoor). Vicky is a struggling singer who wants to make a name for himself. Vicky gets a record contract and goes abroad where he meets Natasha, the owner of a record company. What Vicky doesn't know is that Natasha and him were in the same college and she always had feelings for him but he only had eyes Anjali.

Natasha starts making advances towards Vicky and they end up spending one night together. Vicky regrets what he did and feels bad that he has betrayed Anjali. Vicky and Natasha return to India and Natasha is determined to make Vicky hers. When she does not get her way, she attempts suicide but Vicky saves her. Vicky tells Anjali what happened between him and Natasha. Anjali confronts Natasha and Natasha begs Anjali to give Vicky to her but Anjali makes it clear that Vicky is hers and that she is willing to die for him. After hearing this, Natasha goes over the edge and decides to die for the one she loves. Before committing suicide she phones Anjali and asks her to come over to her house. Both Anjali and Vicky arrive at Natasha's house but it's too late, Natasha has shot herself.

This movie has been stuck for a while and some scenes do look dated but overall it wasn't worth the wait. This was Karisma's last movie before motherhood and was totally not a good movie to end her movie career with. I'm sure she will be back with a bang and prove that she's a good actress again. The movie soundtrack is filled with some good tracks like "Deewani", "Mashooqa" and the title track "Mere Jeevan Saathi".
