Yoga for Prosperity
There IS a way to bring more wealth, health, happiness and love into your life. Will you do it?
Prosperity is a state of consciousness. It is all around you and within you. Yet sometimes we get distracted or diminish ourselves with a limited attitude of lack or scarcity. Especially during this current climate and culture of fear around the economy, it is important to maintain focus about the true nature of abundance.
Get Centered
Take a moment now to centre yourself before you begin. Sit up straight, centre yourself over your hips. Bring your hands to rest on your knees or in your lap. Close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.
Consciously relax your abdomen inhaling as you expand your belly and exhaling to contract the muscles slightly.
Open yourself up to your highest potential for growth and transformation. Give yourself permission to be present with the following information.
Inhale and exhale slowly 26 times.
Good, now let’s begin.
Start with Gratitude
Write down 5 things in your life that you feel grateful for. Become aware of sensation of pleasure, love, comfort, security, or excitement of having those things in your body. A practice of prosperity begins with recognition of what you already have. Try this simple daily practice for 11 days and notice the difference that it makes.
All Words Carry Spiritual Meaning
Write down your answers to the following questions:
1. When I hear the word wealth, I feel . . .
2. In my family money was . . .
3. I was raised to believe that money is . . .
4. Rich people are. . .
Examine your answers. Can you recognize a pattern of fear, anger, or shame in relation to wealth and abundance? If so, are you ready to let it go? Being clear on your attitude and perspective will bring forward the opportunities and remedies that will help you live more freely and in line with who you really are; an unlimited being.
