Tampa's 1st Annual India Film Festival

CANADA HIGHLIGHTED AT TAMPA'S 1st ANNUAL INDIA FILM FESTIVAL Special Guests Include Russell Peters, Deejay Ra, Prita Chhabra

From the record-breaking "Red, White & Brown" stand-up comedy film by Russell Peters, to the award-winning drama "Amal" by Richie Mehta, to events celebrating the growing Indian-Canadian music scene, Tampa’s 1st Annual India International Film Festival will be paying special tribute to South Asian Canadian talent north of the border.

The festival, taking place January 22-24 at the Channelside Cinemas 10 entertainment complex will boast an incredible line-up on January 23 including:

-Richie Mehta’s "Amal" with producer David Miller in attendance for Q&A
-"Red, White & Brown" with the world’s predominant stand-up comedian Russell Peters in attendance to introduce his film
-A South Asian music video night programmed/hosted by Deejay Ra, with videos featuring #1 Billboard artist Jay Sean and many others
-An after-party with a live performance by R&B songstress and official Canadian Music Week 2010 performer Prita Chhabra
