South Asian Heritage Day
The Mississauga St. Michael?s Majors in partnership with MyBindi.com and Desi Wear are pleased to announce that ?South Asian Heritage Day? will take place on Sunday January 31 when the Majors host the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at 2:00 p.m at the Hershey Centre.
“Mississauga is a very culturally diverse city, and anything that we can do to support our fellow citizens, we will” said Majors Executive Vice-President Duncan Stauth. This will be the Majors fifth “Heritage Game” in the three years it has been in Mississauga. Stauth is looking forward to the event, “This is an excellent opportunity to showcase the South Asian Culture and mix it with Canada’s game in an exciting environment.”
