Newmarket South Asian Arts Showcase
Saturday September 10th, the South Asian Showcase 2011 moves to the Newmarket Theatre for a full day’s celebration that combines an all day bazaar and an evening variety show.
The bazaar takes place outdoors, on the grounds of the theatre from 10am to 4pm, and will feature vendors selling food, fashion, jewelry, henna etc. There will also be music and a children’s fun area. Admission to the bazaar is FREE.
The evening’s Variety Concert runs from 7:00pm to 9:30pm and is followed by a reception which is included in the cost of the ticket. All performers are kindly volunteering their talent and time. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased online HERE or from the box office at 905.953.5122.
While this event is South Asian themed, it is by neighbours for neighbours. Anyone may attend, participate, or become a sponsor or vendor. Sponsorship opportunities (& recognition) are available for as little as $100. Vendor spots are $60.

This is another community initiative of Ranji Singh with the dedicated support of an organizing team of volunteers – Vivek Bhatt, Tammy Brown, Rohan Persaud, Tulsi Prashad, Leila Singh and Roger (Sugrim) Singh.
