Imagine Dil Se "Stars of Bollywood" Rocks Brampton
Shiamak Davar's Dance Team paid tribute to Bollywood Stars Oct. 16th at the Rose Theatre Brampton in a spectacular live performance.
This Diwali season started off with a "cracker" of a show for many. On Oct. 16th at the Rose Theatre Brampton, Imagine Dil Se “Stars of Bollywood” mesmerized the audience with rhythmic beats and popular Bollywood dance numbers. Repeated on popular demand and well attended by mainstream and South Asian media, the show was a huge success.
Through colorful costumes and coordinated dances, the Toronto chapter of the Shiamak Davar Dance Team paid a tribute to the popular Bollywood stars. This 90-minute show brought all the audience members on their feet time and again. The crowning glory of the evening was the tribute to Salman Khan, which the mesmerized audience was treated to near the end of the show. The hall resounded with whistles and screams of ‘haye Salman’ and ‘Salman, tum kahan ho?’ as the dancer representing the heartthrob Salman Khan descended down the steps of the auditorium. The show ended with the aroused audience tapping their feet to the catchy music from the ‘Dhinka Chikka’ song.
