Get off your Asanas and Onto the Island!
As a main feature of the Fourth Annual Yoga Meltdown, instructors from major yoga studios all across the GTA will be holding FREE outdoor yoga classes on Centre Island's scenic lakeside grounds.  Imagine entering savasana under the warmth of the sun as the sounds of the gently lulling waves of Lake Ontario flow through the skies. Yoga Meltdown offers all guests a free opportunity to participate in professionally-facilitated yoga classes in a picturesque setting unlike any other in Toronto.

Kirtan Yoga
Kirtan yoga is revolutionizing the way the world currently thinks of yoga! With roots in ancient yogic traditions, kirtan is actually a form of aural or musical yoga that grants all participants, even those with little to no musical background, a chance to bring the exhilarating and rejuvenating sounds of kirtan yoga to life! The Fourth Annual Yoga Meltdown will have non-stop, soul-stirring kirtan performances by kirtan groups renowned throughout Toronto and across the globe. Stretching beyond just physical asanas, kirtan yoga at Yoga Meltdown will allow all guests to see, feel, and hear yoga in a brand new light.

The Yoga of Food
As more than just a routine of physical exercises, yoga is increasingly being seen as an overall lifestyle choice, providing tested and prescribed methods for happy, healthy, and holistic living.  In keeping with such ideas, the Fourth Annual Yoga Meltdown will be host to free live vegan cooking demonstrations and seminars that will promote the benefits of meatless, vegan diets and foods. Moreover, there will also be a free vegetarian feast served to all who attend as part of the Festival of India!
