desiFEST, Canada’s South Asian Festival , will be celebrating its 5th year anniversary on Saturday, May 28th, 2011, at Yonge & Dundas Square in Toronto ON. Check out who will be rocking the stage at this year’s event.

• Toronto born Singer/Producer/DJ/Dancer/Actor/Model, Dav-eh started his career at the age 10 with writing and composing music
• Dav-eh’s first single “Fly Away” was released in August 2010 collaberating with “Sunny Brown” of trio “Culture Shock” and bhangra sensation “Bikram Singh”
• Dav-eh has performed with many well known artists such as Culture Shock, Raghav, Massari, Shawn Desman, Imran Khan, Dr. Zues and The Bilz and Kashif

Navin Kundra

• UK’s Navin Kundra’s sound is unique to the British Asian & South Asian music scene, he is a versatile multi-lingual singer in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Navin represented the UK in the World Series of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa filmed in Dubai at age 19
• UK Asian Music Awards nominations in the categories of Best Male Artist and Best Alternative Act in 2010 and UK Bhangra Music Awards nomination in the category of Best Newcomer
• He has shared the stage with an impressive line up of celebrities including: Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty, Jay Sean and many more!
• He’s had smash hits “Love Thing”, “Tukde Tukde”, “Mehooba”, love ballad “Teri Liye” and recently released “Jee Le” in 2011.
• His 2010 single release “Teri Liye”, spent 12 weeks at No. 1 across UK Asian charts.
