Cutting-edge South Asian Fashion :: International Fashion Festival Premiers in Toronto
The International Fashion Festival has been a series of fashion shows and exhibitions that have taken place all over the Middle East and South Asian Markets. IFF (International Fashion Festival) had its premiere event in Lahore, Pakistan back in 2005 and later moved on to Dubai as a successful sophomore. The event's next phase is set to take place in Toronto, where it is being premiered to the North American Market on 25 and 26 November 2011.
Top designers from the South Asian Markets will be showcasing their Spring 2012 collections during IFF 2011, along with over 20 companies who will be exhibiting their products and services for all the attendees. Many companies and organizations in Toronto, as well as all over the world, will take part in the International Fashion Festival 2011.
The event is spread over the duration of 2 days, and will feature highly creative professional designers from local and international markets such as: India, Pakistan, and USA & CANADA.

Shabi's The first Multi Designer Store brings the latest designs & styles from Pakistan & India. The Multi Designer Store houses some of the most talented and exclusive Pakistani and Indian designers and labels. Housing more than 17 designers and labels under one roof. Shabi's caters to your shopping needs from everyday to formal wear.
Karizma Collection carries a large variety of fashion forwards Pakistani women, children and menswear. Along with latest accessories and jewelry. Specializing in casual and party wear shalwaar kameez, custom made bridals and party wear and exquisite lehengas and mehendi outfits.
Started out in 1994, Pakistani Fashion Designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin worked both as a choreographer and as Fashion designer in various shows within Pakistan and in international shows in Dubai, London, New York City, and Toronto.
Mohammad Mehdi, figures prominently among the Pakistan’s leading fashion designers and evokes images of cutting edge contemporary style colored with shades of tradition and culture. He is is one of the top most brands of Pakistan, producing and delivering the most stunning and glamorous designs for the people in love with fashion.
Vikram Phadnis started his career as a choreographer before rising to fame as a fashion designer. He adorns the wardrobes of the biggest names in the glamour industry. Vikram's efforts have always been to achieve synthesis of popular avant-garde tastes. His unique selling point is his bridal and pret-a-porter wear.
One of the emerging shining stars is Fashion designer Ali Xeeshan. Ali designs both for men and women with focus on the formal and bridal wears. His signature style can be found in his use of unusual color shades and high end luxurious fabrics merged with unconventional embellishment techniques in both traditional and contemporary cuts.
One of the big names who worked hard in making the Fashion industry successful is the shining Fashion designer Nomi Ansari. He has introduced different variety in many dresses; like in Saries, Formal Party wear, Prêt etc.
International Models walking the catwalk include Sofia Khan, Cybil Chaudry, Sabina Pasha, NEHA, and Sadaf Khan.
