Commonwealth Games Canada (CGC) is thrilled to announce that two more prominent members of the Indo-Canadian business community have pledged support for Canadian athletes competing in the October 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India.

The South Asian Community has been very generous and quick in donating what they can to help those in need in Haiti. AM 1550, Sher-E-Punjab and The Sikh Youth has raised approximately $370,000 and is still receiving donations.

On January 23, 2010 UK Bhangra star Balwinder Safri, of the Safri Boyz, will be in town to perform for the first time in over 10 years. Hosted by local ethnic event producer Virsar Media and taking place at Envy Nightclub in Surrey, BC., the evening will also showcase local talent to the audience.
